The Score

The score of Confessions of a Burning Man was produced and written by Graham Shrimpton a/k/a Darkhorse of Three Sixty Records in San Francisco. The music created for Confessions of a Burning Man was a year in the making, with many talented musicians helping in the recording, including Paulo Manuelle, Peter Mayer, Jonny Downer, Michael Dipiro and Megan McCoul. The Songs "Crash and Burn," "End Song" and "Temple of Tears" were all inspired by, and scored to, the film. Great music also in the film comes from the artists Balanced Output, Runaways UK, The Beloved, Herbaliser, Bonobo and Kdub.

Darkhorse runs the Music Supervision and Research service "Music for Moving Images," working with the likes of Apple, BBC, Mandalay/Burton/NBC and many others placing and writing unique music for film and TV, and is in-house Music Supervisor for Windline Films, LLC. Before that, he was in journalism, as an editor for the respected XLR8R magazine and a writer for Urb, Mixer/Mixmag & DJ Times. He then went on to become head of Arcade America, a successful boutique label that produced the Trance Global Nations series, and the hit TV show "Freak City." A seasoned DJ, he has traveled all over the world to perform over the last ten years, and has played alongside such venerable performers as Alex Patterson and the Orb, Hardkiss, Death in Vegas, Pharcyde, Chemical Brothers, Tim Love Lee, Organic Audio, Runaways UK, Coldcut, Herbaliser, Kid Koala, Consolidated, Doc Martin, Rockers Hi-Fi, Daft Punk, and Dave Seaman, to name but a few, and at clubs like the Sound Factory in New York, Nikita in San Francisco, Heavenly, Ministry of Sound and Renaissance.

He is a member of three bands, The Supergroup (Fax Label) Fishbunny (Three Sixty Records) and Three Wheels Out (Pussyfoot Records). He writes music for his own label Three Sixty Records under the moniker Darkhorse & Evolutionary Soul Progression. Other labels that he has releases on are Moonshine, Ubiquity, City of Angels, Fax Label, Tummy Touch/Peace Feast, Primal, Om Records, V2 Japan, XLR8R and Pussy Foot. Oh! He's also has been to Burning Man 5 times.

The Soundtrack is available on CD at Three Sixty Records, and at all online music outlets (e.g., iTunes, etc.).

"Beautiful...
Oh my, this is quite the most beautiful piece of music! As they say, less is more and in this case it is! Love the production and arrangement. 10/10 for Darkhorse."

"Stunning...
It's hard to believe something like this comes from America...the song has a world feel to it you'd expect from something more exotic from say Tibet, Russia, or some other place foreign. The track is okay, but I strongly recommend you visit their site and preview their album as it's chock full of some stellar ambient/electronic tracks. The track "Six to the Eight" has an intro that is one of the most beautiful ambient moods I have ever heard which garners 5 stars for this artist alone. Darkhouse is a true gem among the online world of Electronica."

"The best Electronica music I've heard..
The rhythm literally speaks to your soul when you listen to anything by Darkhorse. You feel every word, breath every note. It becomes, for the few minutes the songs last, your world. You see things in a different light, and feel everything. Darkhorse's music opens the mind to all senses and is by far the best Electronica artist I've heard."
